>>My Printing Process
I try to envision the final image as I approach the location. I usually move around trying different angles, but 95% of the time I return to where I originally started, instinct is best. I use a combination of somewhat traditional techniques combined with digital technology to prepare my images for printing. I then do a series of test prints to get exactly what I envisioned when I captured the image.
All my prints are printed on archival metallic paper.
The paper is light sensitive. It' is first exposed with a laser, then it is processed in traditional chemicals (developer, stop bath and fixer).
This paper is absolutely remarkable. It gives images a three dimensional effect that I have never seen in a photographic paper before. Black and white images have a very chromatic feel to them, they really pop.
>> Encapsulated Frameless Mounting:
This is a great way to show images. The images are mounted between two pices of 1/8" UV grade plexiglass. Then a wooden box frame is attached to the back to hang it. When the image is displayed you don't see any of the wooden frame, all you see is image.
Reflection control plexiglass or glass is not recommended if you plan on mounting images yourself or having a frame shop do it. The paper is very reflective, that is what makes it so special. So anti-reflection glass just defeats that.
All my prints are 100% guaranteed. If you are unhappy for any reason I will take it back.
